Composite Microbial Preparation for Oil Contaminated Soil and Groundwater Purification Technology

Utilizing the decomposition ability of microorganisms to purify oil-contaminated soil and groundwater.

There are animal fats, vegetable oils, and mineral oils, but generally, "oil-related soil and groundwater contamination" refers to pollution caused by petroleum products primarily composed of petroleum-based hydrocarbons (mineral oils). Additionally, there are various methods for purifying (treating) oil contamination, such as thermal treatment and chemical treatment, but most methods, excluding bioremediation, require secondary waste treatment. Furthermore, the installation and operation of plants require relatively high input energy, and they can alter the properties of soil and groundwater to strongly acidic or strongly alkaline conditions, resulting in high costs and environmental burdens. **Features of Bioremediation** - Utilizes the activity of microorganisms - Requires little input energy - Ultimately breaks down oil into water and carbon dioxide - Does not require secondary waste treatment, resulting in lower costs and environmental impact *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*

Soil and groundwater contamination remediation technology "DIM Method"

It is possible to uniformly and effectively mix iron powder into contaminated soil!

The "DIM Method" is a technology that directly mixes special iron powder for soil purification into the ground to clean contaminated soil affected by organic chlorinated compounds in situ. In addition to being able to directly access deep contamination sources, it can supply the required amount of iron powder in a dry form, making it less likely for ground softening to occur after construction. 【Features】 ■ Direct purification of contamination sources ■ Iron powder mixing is possible even for deep contamination ■ Since only iron powder is supplied in a dry form, ground softening is less likely to occur ■ Fundamental purification without excavation (no need for retaining wall work) *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

<Publication of Results> Low-Cost, Highly Efficient, and Effective PFAS Remediation Technology

Verification of effectiveness in the Ministry of the Environment's demonstration research! PFAS purification device for organic fluorine compounds [Exhibiting at Chemical Material Japan 2024]

PFAS is a collective term for over 10,000 types of organic fluorine compounds. They are widely used in our daily lives, such as in non-stick coatings for frying pans and foam fire extinguishers, but there are concerns about their carcinogenic risks, and due to their difficulty in decomposition, they are regarded as "forever chemicals." The technology of ECO Clean LFP employs a unique filter and powdered activated carbon, achieving effective treatment at low cost while minimizing environmental impact. It addresses the challenges of traditional activated carbon treatment, such as "difficulty in handling," "high disposal costs," and "low removal effectiveness." Furthermore, this technology has been adopted in the Ministry of the Environment's "Demonstration Research" for the fiscal year 2023, and its effectiveness has been confirmed in the purification of actual PFAS-contaminated groundwater. This document provides a clear explanation of regulations and purification technologies related to PFAS! [Contents of the document] ■ Latest trends in PFAS regulations overseas ■ PFAS purification technologies and results from the Ministry of the Environment's demonstration research ■ Corporate PFAS environmental management roadmap \ Please click "PDF Download" to view the document /

Natural origin heavy metal-containing soil countermeasure "DME method" *Purification technology that does not use water

NETIS registration! No need for wastewater treatment facilities! Water-free heavy metal purification (extraction) technology "Dry Magnetic Separation Method."

The new technology of dry magnetic separation method, "DME method," is a technique that extracts and purifies heavy metals from low-concentration heavy metal-contaminated soil using magnetic force. The soil after the extraction of heavy metals can be reused as purified soil that meets environmental standards. Additionally, since this method does not use water, there is no need for wastewater treatment facilities, and the system is easy to operate, achieving significant cost reductions compared to conventional soil washing methods. This technology has been evaluated and selected as a recommended method by the Japan Association for Contaminated Soil Treatment. 【Features】 ■ Simple equipment configuration allows for low-cost processing! ■ The amount of precious metal-concentrated soil generated is minimal! ■ No need for wastewater treatment facilities as it does not use water! ■ Achieved significant cost reductions compared to conventional soil washing methods! *For other functions and details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Technical Document: Oil Pollution Control Technology for a Decarbonized Society

A Japanese-origin activated carbon purification method for a decarbonized society! Addressing oil contamination with the Smart Cap method, an activated carbon purification technology!

[New Oil Pollution Control Technology for a Decarbonized Society] ■ Following the Japanese government's "2050 Carbon Neutral (CN2050)" initiative in 2020, there has been a transformation in corporate awareness towards a decarbonized society. ■ The social implementation of a unique and highly effective "Negative Emission (NE) technology" that stores "biochar" in the ground and agricultural land, strongly promoting CN2050, has begun. ■ Since the postponement of establishing soil oil pollution concentration standards in the past, Japan's development of oil pollution purification technology has been in decline, peaking 20 years ago. ■ The "Activated Carbon Bioremediation Technology," which is also an NE technology, progresses with bioremediation after the sensory values of oil pollution are cleared early on. As a result, the challenge of determining the endpoint of purification, which was difficult with bioremediation, has been overcome, transforming it into a technology with excellent reliability for site management. ■ In Japan, there is a similar activated carbon purification technology known as the "Smart Cap" method, which has been proven to be applicable to oil pollution control as VOC purification technology. *For more details, please contact us or view the PDF download.

Soil and groundwater contamination remediation technology "PRB method"

A purification technology that utilizes the natural flow rate of groundwater to decompose VOCs within walls.

The "PRB method" involves the installation of a permeable reactive barrier (PRB) downstream of contaminated groundwater to prevent the spread of contamination. After the installation of the PRB, groundwater monitoring becomes the primary task, and it is maintenance-free. Additionally, the development of a construction method using a three-axis auger eliminates the need for retaining wall construction, making it applicable even to deep contaminated groundwater (up to 40 meters underground). 【Features】 ■ Maintenance-free (only monitoring is conducted) ■ Does not hinder the natural flow of groundwater ■ Reliable diffusion prevention measures ■ Applicable to deep contaminated groundwater as well *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
